Tyre mould manufacturer TP Tools Oy has joined the FAME Ecosystem as part of its effort to optimise manufacturing processes. The company recently acquired a FormUp 350 metal additive manufacturing machine from AddUp, enabling them to bring tyre sipes production in-house. Their machinery also includes Nexa3D’s NXE 400 3D printer.
By integrating the FormUp 350 machine, TP Tools aims to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and gain greater control over the production process. This move will also allow the company to explore more complex and customised geometries, driving innovation in tyre mould designs.
