I have a mechanical engineering, project management and sales background at Etteplan. I have studied manufacturing technologies, participated DFMA and Additive Manufacturing projects. In my current role I’m working also a consultative tasks for our customers in business case creations and value analysis in AM. I’m thrilled to be able to work in a field of AM with the enthusiastic engineers. In my role as a Chairman of The Management board I’m trying to give the best guidance to the excellent FAME team and boost the AM improvements in Finland.
Experience of 20+ years at Wärtsilä in different roles from supply management, quality, production and project management. Key theme has been driving change and building networks of collaboration. Current responsibilities include manufacturing ecosystems at Wärtsilä with additive manufacturing being an integral part of it. Gearing up additive manufacturing successfully is about challenging status quo thus driving change with a network approach. This creates very dynamic and interesting environment to collaborate in FAME.
I am experienced technology leader with demonstrated history of working in the process technology industry. In my current position as a Vice President, Research and Development, I am accountable for all R&D across Valmet, continuing to develop Valmet’s R&D strategy and driving its execution. In Valmet, we see the possibilities of additive manufacturing as one of the production technologies to reduce emissions and consequently the carbon footprint of the part production and complete product life cycle.
As Managing Director, I’m responsible for building up AMEXCI’s capacity and competencies in Finland and integrating our operations to AMEXCI group activities. Our mission is to futureproof our Nordic industries. AMEXCI, together with its customers, develops a new generation of products where AM acts as an enabler for higher competitiveness and more sustainable production. Furthermore, AMEXCI offers a range of trainings and workshops to build successful business cases. We are member of FAME because AMEXCI believes in co-development, and we want to help Finnish industry to thrive with Additive Manufacturing.
I’m responsible for Nastola R&D team managing, invention, patent and IPR operations.
I work as a Manager, Engineering Analysis in Valmet Flow Control. I’ve been involved in LPBF metal 3D-printing since 2017 in various R&D projects. Projects have been related to design improvements in valves, design for AM and topology optimization.
Sales and managing of AM related projects in customer interface. I am one of the founders of Etteplan’s AMO team and lead trainer in AM trainings provided. Co-development of Etteplan’s AM actions to being the best performing design-for-additive-manufacturing machine.
I am currently a Manufacturing Engineer at Ponsse Plc. Main responsibilities are cabin assembly and wiring harness production development. First touch in 3D printing back in 2015, since then hardcore enthusiast and AM specialist at Ponsse.
I am currently working as AM Specialist at AMEXCI Oy in Tampere. I am responsible for the production facility with metal L-PBF. I have studied in Aalto University and previously worked with metal AM on tool manufacturing.
I work as an Innovation Expert (Additive Manufacturing) in Manufacturing Excellence in Wärtsilä, leading our WHAM (Wärtsilä Hub for Additive Manufacturing) tribe, and as the Chairman of the Advisory Board in FAME. I believe that only by doing we can show the different stakeholders why and how Additive can be utilized for creating better.
