The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management (Suomen Yrittäjäopisto) has joined the FAME Ecosystem, strengthening collaboration in additive manufacturing, digitalisation, and technology education.
The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management is a national provider of vocational adult education. Its main fields of activity include entrepreneurship training, business education, handicraft training, and technology training. In the field of technology, the institute offers a vocational qualification in information and communications technology, as well as continuing education in robotics, automation, and modelling.
Headquartered in Kauhava, the institute operates nationwide, with most training delivered online.
The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management aims to support the development and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Finland. A key focus area is promoting the adoption of digitalisation and new technologies, particularly among smaller companies.
“3D printing is a growing field of production and is widely used in prototyping throughout Finland. In addition to our own equipment and training provision, membership in FAME is a valuable complement to our activities,” says Markus Elo from The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management.
“We are delighted to welcome The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management to the FAME ecosystem. Their expertise will help strengthen the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies among Finnish SMEs. Together, we can support companies in developing new skills and enhancing their competitiveness,” says Rauno Hatakka from the FAME Ecosystem.
