Open tender to develop FAME Knowledge Sharing Platform

DIMECC Oy and FAME are seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop a Knowledge Sharing Platform for the Finnish Additive Manufacturing Ecosystem (FAME).

The FAME ecosystem, the leading entity in Finland for Additive Manufacturing, has recognized the growing need for a centralized platform to store, manage, and disseminate the data and knowledge that is available and generated through its members and many activities. 

This platform will serve as a comprehensive database, accessible through a web platform, allowing FAME members to access a wide range of information in various formats. Key features of the platform include scalability, data visualization, AI-driven content recommendations, secure access control, and a customizable user experience. The platform will be developed and launched in three iterative versions over three years (2024-2026), with each version building upon the previous one to enhance functionality and user experience. 

The estimated budget for this procurement is 150,000 EUR, with the project duration aligned with the three-year development plan. The procurement is open to Finnish companies, and proposals must be submitted in English by the deadline of September 30, 2024.  

The project is supported by Business Finland and FAME members.  

This project presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of Additive Manufacturing in Finland by providing a state-of-the-art platform that will enable FAME members to leverage shared knowledge for innovation and growth. 

Submission Process: 

1. When you press on (Participate in the tender), you will be required to review and accept the confidentiality statement which ensures that all information shared during the RFP (Request for Proposal) process is kept secure and is only used for the purpose of evaluating and submitting your proposal. 
2. Upon acceptance of the confidentiality statement, you will receive an email from (procurement@dimecc.com) with the detailed RFP documentation and a Link to submit documents through. 
3. A session will be organized for all participating vendors on 16.9.2024 at 11:00 am for Q&As. Session Summary will be published on this page afterwards. 
4. Submission documents will only be accepted through the provided link. No submissions will be considered through email or after the deadline.
